The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have offered the public a rare, tender glimpse into their family life with the release of two new photographs honoring their daughter Princess Lilibet’s fifth birthday.

One image shows Prince Harry and Meghan smiling warmly as Harry holds their young daughter in a close family embrace. The other captures Lilibet in a serene garden setting, her small hand delicately reaching toward a bloom.

Meghan shared the photos on Instagram with a simple, affectionate message: “Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili.”

Lilibet, the couple’s second child and Archie’s younger sister by two years, has recently been described by her mother as “Mama’s little helper.” That earlier post featured the pair in a walk-in wardrobe, with Meghan trying on a coat while Lilibet crouched curiously nearby.

The birthday tribute arrives shortly after the couple marked their eighth wedding anniversary with nostalgic photographs from their 2018 ceremony. It also comes amid a period of focused creative and personal endeavors.

Through their Archewell production company, Harry and Meghan are developing a Netflix feature film based on No Way Out by Major Adam Jowett — a true account of British forces under siege in Afghanistan. The project follows a restructuring of their Netflix relationship last year, shifting from a full content deal to a “first look” arrangement.

In April, the couple visited Australia’s east coast privately, no longer operating as working royals. Their itinerary highlighted Indigenous culture, sports, philanthropy, and a visit to the Australian War Memorial.

As Lilibet enters her sixth year, these latest images reflect the Sussex family’s deliberate balance of privacy and selective sharing, offering fans a soft, personal window into their world away from the spotlight.
